The Superintendent, with input from staff members, will prepare salary schedules annually for all employee groups.  These schedules will be submitted to the Board of Education for approval.  Certified staff members have the opportunity to receive horizontal salary schedule movement on the current salary schedule provided they present official documentation of college hours, via an official transcript from that institution, stating that all college hours have been completed and paid for by the employee during the course of a particular year.  Official documentation should be submitted to the Superintendent’s office for consideration of a horizontal move on the current salary schedule.  (See also Policy 4131-Extra-Duty and Extended Contracts)
