The Board will annually adopt a calendar that will provide for the following holidays:
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Day after Thanksgiving
December 24
December 25
December 31
January 1
Memorial Day
Easter Monday
Good Friday
Staff members will not receive additional compensation for holidays unless they are required to work on such holidays.
Personnel considered 12-month employees will be allowed vacation with pay after meeting the following:
One through three years of completed service to the district-5 paid days per year.
Four through eight years of completed service to the district-10 paid days per year.
Eight years and above of completed service to the district-15 paid days per year.
Vacation time must be approved by the Superintendent, at the discretion of the Superintendent, and taken when the employee workload and responsibilities allow.
