The Board will annually adopt a calendar that will provide for the following holidays:
Independence Day
Labor Day
Thanksgiving
Day after Thanksgiving
December 24
December 25
December 31
January 1
Memorial Day
Easter Monday
Good Friday
Staff members will not receive additional compensation for holidays unless they are required to work on such holidays.
Personnel considered 12-month employees will be allowed vacation with pay after meeting the following:
One through three years of completed service to the district-5 paid days per year.
Four through eight years of completed service to the district-10 paid days per year.
Eight years and above of completed service to the district-15 paid days per year.
Vacation time must be approved by the Superintendent, at the discretion of the Superintendent, and taken when the employee workload and responsibilities allow. Vacation time will not be cumulative. Remaining vacation time will roll into sick leave at the conclusion of each year, and will be subject to all policies, rules, and regulations governing the use of sick leave.
