
The Board will annually adopt a calendar, which will provide for the following holidays (days celebrated) for 12-month employees
Contracted (salaried) and office employees (in excess of 150 days) will receive MLK and President’s Day as a holiday. In the event employees are required to work on day celebrated as the holiday, the holiday will become classified as a floating holiday and should be taken at a later date. Supervisors shall approve employees’ days off.
Staff members will not receive additional compensation for holidays unless they are required to work on such holidays and are unable to take the day off at a later date as a floating holiday.
Administrators employed on a twelve (12) month contract shall have vacation as provided in their individual contracts. Vacation shall be scheduled in compliance with the Superintendent's guidelines and is subject to Superintendent and or his/her designee's approval.
