In an effort to provide the District sufficient time to secure quality candidates for educational vacancies, the Board of Education provides the following incentive to certificated personnel who have worked in the district for five or more years and who provide early notification of their decision to resign or retire:

1. A financial incentive of $1,000 is available to an employee submitting an irrevocable letter of retirement or resignation prior to the regular December Board meeting.
2. A financial incentive of $750 is available to an employee submitting an irrevocable letter of retirement or resignation prior to the regular January Board meeting.
3. A financial incentive of $500 is available to an employee submitting an irrevocable letter of retirement or resignation prior to the regular February Board meeting.
4. A financial incentive of $250 is available to an employee submitting an irrevocable letter of retirement or resignation prior to the regular March Board meeting.
